Terms of Service
EGP TechnoVirtuel Inc. — Division Commerciale
Account Setup
Upon your first contact with EGP, a customer service representative will request your contact information and a credit card for invoice payments. Your real estate agency’s information and contact details are also required.
Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled through our customer service team or directly via our online ordering platform. For requests made through customer service, our team will contact the responsible party to confirm appointment details.
A confirmation email is sent to all addresses on the order, including the scheduled date and time.
Please note that exterior-only appointments do not include a specific time slot — the photographer will arrive at a time determined by their daily schedule, unless a special arrangement has been agreed upon in advance.
During the session, the on-site contact must ensure adequate safety conditions. If the photographer deems that their safety or well-being could be compromised, they reserve the right to restrict access to certain areas, decline certain shots, or end the session.
No form of violence, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior — verbal or physical — toward our photographers or team members will be tolerated. Photographers are instructed to leave immediately if they feel their safety is threatened in any way.
Late Access & No-Show
If the person expected on site is late or absent without prior notice to EGP and the delay exceeds 15 minutes, the photographer will photograph the exterior only and leave. You will be billed for an exterior-only session, and a new appointment must be scheduled for a return visit.
Cancellations
A fee applies for any appointment cancelled after 4:00 PM the day prior.
Rescheduling an appointment after the deadline above will be treated as a cancellation.
Delivery Timelines
A photo session of “up to 25 photos” should take a maximum of 45 minutes. For each additional 15-minute block, a $15 fee will be charged. Additional 15-minute blocks are allocated to the photographer for every 10 additional photos.
Final photos are delivered the next business day before end of day, except for Saturday sessions which are delivered Monday before end of day, provided no processing issues arise.
For 3D tours or video, additional time is allocated based on property size. Additional fees may apply at EGP’s discretion. A delivery window of 24 to 72 business hours is expected after the appointment. This delay may increase during busy periods.
For aerial drone photos, the delivery timeline matches regular photos — delivered the next business day.
Centris Installation
Centris installation is included with all our packages, provided the MLS number is active or you send us the temporary number by email or phone. The installation delay may vary depending on volume or technical difficulties.
We verify MLS availability at the time of photo delivery. After this point, you must contact us by phone or email with the MLS number; otherwise, photos will not be installed.
Billing
All appointments are billed to your credit card upon photo delivery.
If a payment fails, photos will not be accessible. An email with the unpaid invoice will be sent; it is your responsibility to contact EGP to update your payment information and unlock your media.
EGP reserves the right to charge additional fees or modify the selected package if crucial property information is omitted at the time of booking.
Hosting
Photos taken for a listing are used on average for 6 months. EGP ensures photos are retained for 12 months. After this period, they may no longer be available. We strongly recommend downloading your photos as soon as you receive them.
3D tours are retained for 12 months. A downloadable offline version is available — contact customer service for more information.
Usage Rights & Copyright
The Copyright Act was amended in the spring of 2012 by Bill C-11, correcting the previous situation where copyright of commissioned photographs belonged by default to the client.
Canadian photographers are now the first copyright holders of the images they produce by default — as are illustrators, musicians, painters, and writers. This applies to both commissioned photographs and photographs taken outside a commercial context.
As a result, photographers no longer need to have clients sign an agreement stating that the photographer is the first copyright holder; the law now guarantees this by default. Furthermore, no use is permitted without a written agreement from the copyright holder.
EGP TechnoVirtuel inc. is a real estate photography company employing full-time photographers; copyright belongs exclusively to EGP TechnoVirtuel inc.
EGP grants a usage license for the marketing of the property to the real estate broker who ordered the product. No other use, distribution, or resale is permitted without the written consent of EGP TechnoVirtuel inc.
