EGP Prestige
Account Opening
When you first contact EGP Prestige, a customer service agent will ask for your contact information and a credit card for invoice payments. Your real estate agency’s information and contact details will also be required.
Appointments
Appointments are booked through customer service or online. Appointments are assigned a fixed time slot and a confirmation email is sent to the address(es) on the order.
Exterior-only sessions do not have a fixed time window. The photographer will arrive at a time of their choosing based on their daily schedule, unless a prior special arrangement has been made.
The person responsible for receiving the photographer must ensure that safety conditions are adequate. If the photographer determines that their safety or integrity could be at risk, they reserve the right to restrict access to certain areas, decline certain shots, or stop the session.
If the property is occupied by a tenant, it is MANDATORY that the broker and/or owner be on-site.
No form of violence, intimidation, or inappropriate behaviour — verbal or physical — toward our photographers or team members will be tolerated. Our photographers are instructed to leave immediately if they feel their safety is threatened in any way.
Delays
If the person expected on-site is delayed or absent without prior notice to EGP Prestige, and the delay exceeds 15 minutes, the photographer will complete exterior photos and leave. You will be charged for a cancellation with photographer travel.
Appointment Cancellation
Cancellation fees apply for any appointment cancelled after 4:00 PM the day before the scheduled appointment.
Rescheduling an appointment after this deadline will be treated as a cancellation.
Processing Times
A photo session must respect the time slot selected and the property size indicated. For every additional 15-minute increment, or if the property is larger than indicated, a fee of $50 will be charged.
Final photos are delivered the day after the appointment by end of day — except for Saturday sessions, which are delivered Monday by end of day — provided no processing issues arise. Centris installation follows during the day.
For 3D tours or video, additional time is allocated based on property size and additional fees may apply at EGP Prestige’s discretion. Turnaround is 24 to 72 business hours after the appointment, and may increase during peak periods.
Aerial photos and videos follow the same turnaround as standard photos (delivered the next day).
Centris Installation
Centris installation is included with all packages when the MLS number is active, or when a temporary number is provided to us by email or phone. Installation timing may vary based on volume or technical issues.
We verify MLS availability at the time of photo delivery. After delivery, you must contact us by phone or email with the MLS number; otherwise photos will not be installed.
Billing
All appointments are billed to your credit card upon photo delivery.
If a payment fails, photos will not be accessible. An email with the unpaid invoice will be sent; it is your responsibility to contact EGP Prestige to update your payment information and unlock your media.
EGP Prestige reserves the right to charge additional fees or modify the selected package if critical property information was omitted at the time of booking.
PRIME Service
The PRIME service gives you access, within a single photo session, to an immersive 3D tour, a floor plan, a property microsite, and a slideshow video upon request. The service is billed monthly with no fixed term.
Upon cancellation, all 3D tours and microsites are deactivated. A re-subscription fee applies.
The included 3D tour covers a maximum of 5,000 square feet. A fee applies for additional square footage.
Please contact customer service for more details.
Hosting
Photos taken for a listing are used on average for 6 months. EGP Prestige retains photos for a period of 12 months. After this period they may no longer be available. We strongly recommend downloading your photos as soon as you receive them.
3D tours are retained for 12 months. An offline downloadable version is available — contact customer service for more information.
Usage Rights & Copyright
The Copyright Act was amended in spring 2012 through Bill C-11, correcting the prior situation where copyright in commissioned photographs belonged by default to the client.
Canadian photographers are now the primary copyright holders of the images they produce — by default — just as illustrators, musicians, painters, and writers are. This applies to photographs commissioned and paid for by a client as well as to photographs taken outside a commercial context.
Accordingly, it is no longer necessary for photographers to have their commercial clients sign an agreement stating that the photographer is the primary copyright holder; the law now guarantees this ownership by default. Furthermore, no use is permitted without a written agreement from the copyright holder.
EGP TechnoVirtuel inc. is a real estate photography company employing full-time photographers; copyright belongs exclusively to EGP TechnoVirtuel inc.
EGP grants a usage licence for the marketing of the property to the real estate broker who ordered the product. No other use, distribution, or resale is permitted without the written consent of EGP TechnoVirtuel inc.
